Rogers internet joins TV with Xfinity rebrand

Just like with its TV and streaming TV rebranding, Rogers has renamed its internet services from Ignite internet to Rogers Xfinity internet.

This rounds out the rebrand, so now all of Rogers’ services use Comcast’s Xfinity branding instead of the Ignite name that the Canadian telecom has been using for the last decade or so.

You can learn more on Rogers’ support page, but nothing will change with your TV, internet or smart home security services beyond the name.

Rogers and Comcast announced this partnership in April, and then in late September, Rogers announced that it would be using Comcast’s networking designs to help make internet infrastructure more reliable in Canada.
